Archives for the month of: August, 2007

Well, I’ve submitted a panel idea for SXSW 2008 on prototyping. Voting opens this Friday – make sure you vote for it.

The idea came to me after my interview with Jed Wood for my upcoming prototyping book. Prototyping allows you to try out a few options quickly and easily without being fully committed. You’re not investing nine months into a relationship with a design solution only to find out it’s the wrong one. Instead, like speed dating, prototyping allows you to quickly evaluate a few options and pick the one that’s best.

For those who attended my goal oriented data driven design presentation at Dr. Dobbs Architecture and Design World 2007, here’s the presentation slides. They’re also posted at Slideshare.

The Podcast is coming in the next couple of days.
