DropBox for Remote File Storage and Sharing

Another clever remote file storage and sharing application with a twist—DropBox looks really easy to use for storage and sharing and integrates with your desktop. Some of the key useful features include drag-and-drop, versions, and even the ability to undo those accidental deletes. Looks like it could be a great system for file sharing and collaboration. They’re currently accepting requests for invites to their beta.

Teaching the Machine

This is a great commentary on the web and how is impacting our society. The video highlights some interesting Web 2.0 principles like collaboration and editing in-place, but what’s most interesting is the continued references to anthropology and ethnography. Pay particular attention to the ending – it’s very powerful.
