Presentation – Architecture and Design World
This Friday I’ll be presenting on our goal-based data-driven design methods at Dr. Dobb’s Architecture and Design World 2007 in Chicago. If you’re around, stop by. And if you’re not, well, I’ll be recording it so you can hear the podcast later.
Todd,
Good talk yesterday. I think your “GODD” techniques mesh nicely with Agile software development methods like Scrum and XP (Extreme Programming). It would be straightforward to map your user tasks and subtasks to the developer tasks that Scrum manages in its so-called “backlog” lists. XP captures requirements as user stories, which are more or less that same as your user tasks, so the mapping there is even more natural.
Thanks, Dean. You can find the slides here.
