Charts were created in Illustrator. The data points are derived from research, typically including having the audience we’re researching rate a number of factors on a sliding scale of 0-5 (0=not important t0 5=critical).

Could you explain the significance of the pink dots and sliders for each of the three headings?

Hey Jeff, great question. The pink dots represent items that are unique or significant for that particular profile. The brown dots represent items that are insignificant to that persona. When you’re using this to design, pink items are ones to pay particular attention to for that persona, while brown dots are ones you shouldn’t really worry about.
